She made this…from that
I shared the antique quilt below at a local quilt study group in October and blogged about it here. Jean Fries from Bellwether Dry Goods was inspired by it and made her own version which is photographed above. I really like it and she was kind enough to let me share it with you. The quilt is available for purchase on the Bellwether website and you should visit the Bellwether Facebook page to see more of their awesome work.
I love both of them. The reproduced quilt is well done.
She did a wonderful job in reproducing the quilt. I really love it.
Love her reproduction of the antique quilt. Thanks for sharing a picture. I will have to look at her site.
Great reproduction of the nine patch quilt!
Both are lovely quilts! That green is awesome!
Jean did a great job with her copy of the original antique quilt!!! I love the green/pink combo!!!
I love this quilt a whole bunch. Love the pink and green and thank you for sharing it as well as the site for it.
Wonderful interpretation of the original!
What a great quilt! Love pink and green together- instant aging.
Both the original and the "inspired" quilt are beauties!
I like how she made her version unique.
Her quilt has a lighter look but still has lots of pinks. I think it is wonderful how antique quilts can inspire a modern day quilter.
Love them both..that quilt will sell in no time..

love this setting for nine patches. I like both versions. I'm sure she'll have no problem selling it.
